Following the buzz last week around the LG Etna handset, today they released some pics and (limited) specs of the GW620. Its not clear if this is the Etna because this wasn't a full-on announcement, but it was revealed the device is another 5-row G1/Cliq style slider keyboard with a front-facing camera, 3inch touchscreen and that oh-so-important 3.5mm headphone socket.

Its expected to launch in Q4, i.e. before the bonanza that is the Christmas mobile phone feeding frenzy.

The screenshots show only 1 button on the front, when the keyboard is closed, as per the iPhone. This will make life interesting for developers.

"The LG-GW620 will appeal to first-time smartphone customers by offering a new and different kind of user experience,” said Dr. Skott Ahn, President and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Our objective is to provide a wide selection of smartphones to satisfy the diverse preferences of today’s consumers. This Android phone is just one of many smartphone models we plan to introduce worldwide in the years ahead.”
