Android GlobeJust as PC's grew smarter by combining more CPU's per chip, so the mobile space does too. NVIDIA are a big player in this market and their Tegra 2 dual core chip is starting to appear on some top end handsets already. However, in the future we'll see far more powerful devices as they release triple, quad and beyond with their line of multi-core CPUs. “Every single year, there will be a new Tegra,” says CEO Jen-Hsun Huang in a whitepaper recently published. He said he expects dual-core to be the standard in 2011. Clearly, battery technology has to improve to prevent all this horsepower turning into donkeypower, but the capabilities of such devices (4G, multiple HD video etc) is jaw dropping!
