Theres a lot of talk about running Android on netbooks, and it may prove that choosing Linux as the foundation was a much smarter move than originally appeared. For example, if Android ever does run on netbooks/laptops etc, you'll want the full set of apps you're used to. So things like OpenOffice for Android will appear, which presumably won't be anything like as hard to port over as say a full OpenOffice for Symbian.
