Google scanned and made available 1.5 million books a while ago.. now android has access to this library and look what has just been announced:

I wonder how the iphone would cope if it were suddenly denied access to any google resources - y'know google maps, earth, now these ebooks or even the google search engine!!

This is Windows versus Linux all over again cept now its Apple versus Linux. If things get heavy Google will have a mighty powerful screw to turn there.
