You may laugh but this kind of garbage is creating quite a stink. I'd expect many more such infantile apps for Android over time as the platform and handsets become more generally available, and the restrictions Google make are less stringent than Apples. In fact Google can only restrict Marketplace apps, and as we all know delivery of apps to Android is just a url away, unlike Apple.
